The IBM Enterprise Framework

The Enterprise Framework maps each cell of the Zachman Framework to a diagram or definition (largely based on RUP and/or UML more generally)

IBM Information FrameWork (IFW)

These are (or perhaps were - I am not sure of their support status within IBM) not so much an enterprise architecture framework but rather "starter" sets of industry specific business models. They comprise of Information Models, Process Models and Integration Models for the following industries:

  • Banking and Financial Markets (Data, Process, Services)
  • Insurance (Data, Process, Services)
  • Healthcare (Data)
  • Telecommunications (Data)
  • Retail (Data)
